Dr. Valerie Cooper is a native of the Dayton, Ohio area. She enjoys art and photography. Her favorite subject is people – family and friends. Dr. Valerie Cooper graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2006. She earned several awards and recognition for excellence in clinical and academic achievement. She completed the Advanced Prosthodontics Education Program, also at The Ohio State University. Following her three years of residency training she decided to begin practicing near her hometown of Troy, Ohio. After a short time she realized her vision of the ideal patient experience with the foundation of Advanced Dentistry of Dayton. Her philosophy combines her high level of training in advanced dentistry with attention to the finest detail of the patient experience. Dr. Cooper also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Community Health at Wright State University. She is a collaborator with other medical and dental researchers and enjoys contributing information from her field.
Dr. Lauren Fields is also a native of Dayton, Ohio. She is a graduate of Alter High School in 2002. She went to the College of Charleston, where she competed on the varsity equestrian team and graduated with a BS in Molecular Biology. In 2010 she graduated from Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation she moved back to the Dayton area to be close to friends and family, and completed a General Practice Residency at Miami Valley Hospital. Dr. Fields has a passion for general dentistry, and enjoys helping patients overcome their fears of dentistry. Her training and experience has been extensive in the field of oral surgery and dental management of medically compromised patients. Dr. Fields has a high standard of care for her patients, and enjoys providing high quality dentistry in a gentle way. Outside the office Dr. Fields enjoys the outdoors, running, and swimming. She also enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She has two children whom she loves dearly and enjoys being a mother.
Dr. Sonia Sandhu grew up in Mississippi. She completed dental school at New York University in 2007. She then completed an additional residency program, the Advanced Education in General Dentistry, at Temple University in 2008. She practiced in Brooklyn, New York until 2011 when she relocated with her husband and son to Dayton. She enjoys working out, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her son. Her work is a great source of satisfaction. She is happy to help her patients reach optimum oral health and improve their quality of life.
